Returns + Exchanges

1. How to start a return

• Email info@theleatherjacketusa.com within 14 days of delivery to request a return.
• All returns must be approved before you send anything back — items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
• Once approved, we’ll provide our return address and instructions.
• You must ship the item back within 7 calendar days of receiving return instructions, using a trackable shipping method, and share the tracking number with us.
• If the item isn’t shipped within 7 days, the return authorization expires and the item is no longer eligible for refund.

2. Valid reasons for return

• Wrong item delivered
• Damaged or defective product
• Size received differs from what was ordered

3. Return eligibility

• Item must be unused, unworn, with original tags and packaging
• Proof of purchase is required

4. What we don’t accept returns for

• Change of mind or personal preference
• Not liking the product after delivery
• Incorrect size selected by the customer — all items are made to the size chart published on the product page, and if the delivered size matches what you selected at checkout, the return will not be accepted.

5. Proof required for damage/defect/wrong-item claims

Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and/or video of the product, the issue, and the packaging. Claims reported after 48 hours, or without proof, may be declined.

6. Who pays return shipping

• Customer-requested returns: the customer covers return shipping costs.
• Our error (wrong item or defective product): we cover the return shipping cost.
• A prepaid return label is available on request; its cost is deducted from your final refund.

7. Inspection

All returns are inspected on arrival. We may decline a return if the item shows signs of wear, or tags/packaging are missing.

8. Refunds

• Refunded to your original payment method
• Processed within 5 business days of approval
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable
• Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund

9. Exchanges

Exchanges follow the same return process above. The customer is responsible for return shipping on the original item and shipping on the replacement. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

10. Product description disclosure

Some of our products are styles inspired by celebrity, film, or streetwear fashion looks. Any such item is clearly labeled on its product page as an inspired/recreated design and is not sold as official licensed merchandise. This is disclosed prior to purchase, so returns based on “not official merchandise” claims are not accepted once this description was visible at checkout.
